German victory in the Grand Prix Acqua Uliveto – 13th Challenge Vincenzo Muccioli, tank to the spectacular performance of Toni Hassmann riding Lolita H.
We don’t yet know who will win the “Acqua Uliveto” Grand Prix this evening, but we can already name the rider who has left his mark on the 13th “Challenge Vincenzo Muccioli”: Italian Gianni Govoni.
Toni Hassmann, riding his seven year old Oldenburg Baron Pkz, was victorious yesterday, and today he did not dissapoint the crowd in San Patrignano’s WeFree Prize, mixed category for young horses.
A German victory in the consecutive phase class open to young horses which opened the second day of competition in the CSI5* at San Patrignanno. It was Toni Hassmann on Baron Pkz, the last rider to enter the ring, to claim first prize with a double clean in 33”39’.
The first day of San Patrignano’s CSI closet in grand style with an exhilarating Italian victory by Gianni Govoni on Love Affair. The rider, from Modena, felt the crowd’s support as he took the lead in the small Grand Prix.
Irish rider Billy Twomey on Blue Thunder won the second class of the day at San Patrignano, with a double clean and a time of 30”55’. He claimed his victory in the Deutz Fahr Prize, a consecutive phase class which had 46 riders at the starting gate of the grass competition arena.
The stars and striped got off to a good start as Lauren Hough on Available Versace rode to a first place finish in the 13° Challenge Vincenzo Muccioli on the show grounds at San Patrignano.
