If San Patrignano has horses, stables and a world renowned breeding program, it is due to one man: Vincenzo Muccioli.

He loved horses, seeing the animals as extraordinary partners for man: consequently they have been a part of life at San Patrignano since its founding in 1978.

We wish to remember him as he spoke of the Community, his “extended family”.

As every year there will be copious TV coverage, on a National and International level. The show, organized by the 1500 young men and women of the Community, will be followed by Raisport 1 on Satellite and digital cable (specifically the last class every evening). Horse Class TV (number 221 Sky in Italy) will play the first two classes of the day live (Friday through Sunday) and the final classes prerecorded.

The big names of equitation are what draw crowds to a horse show, and at San Patrignano’s CSI5* there is no shortage of “celebrities” with a total of 48 medals earned at Olympics, World and European Championships.

There will be eleven Italian riders competing at San Patrignano this year, alll hoping to convince trainer Markus Fuchs to take them to the World Championships.
