WeFree Prize, Hassmann wins again
Toni Hassmann, riding his seven year old Oldenburg Baron Pkz, was victorious yesterday, and today he did not dissapoint the crowd in San Patrignano’s WeFree Prize, mixed category for young horses.
Hassmann beat out the other eight horse and rider teams in the jump off, riding to two clean rounds and a time of 36”33’.
“I am very happy to be winning at San Patrignano, especially on Baron Pkz, who is proving to be quick and careful. Now I hope to keep winning, maybe tonight in the Grand Prix”.

Dutch rider Albert Zoer, team World Champion in 2006, rode Veliciano, a KWPN stallion by Andiamo to a clean jump off as well, but his time, 37”86’, was not quick enough to win.
Third place went to Zoer’s team mate, William Greve on Verona (7 year old Kwpn gelding by Equador) with zero faults and 38”42’.
Best placed among the Italians was Giovani Magaton on Carol Fz Bz, seven year old mare by Come On, with zero faults and 40”63’.
WeFree is the new slogan with which San Patrignano will be presenting all its prevention activities after this September. Next October 10th at San Patignano we will be celebrating the first annual WeFree Day, an event dedicated to young people and to creating and encouraging dialogue on a variety of issues, including education, sustainability and social inclusion.
